We have been testing the whole eqpd gear product line since fall of last year in every way possible. The Universal Knee Pad in particular has been protecting us not only while we ride bikes but also while we build trails and work in the trades. The utilitarian design is made from bomb proof materials right in Twisp, Washington by our friend, Jonathan Baker. “Baker” as he is affectionately called has had an illustrious design career and is probably most known for his “Baker” lid by Bern Helmets.
Now that this gear has passed our abuse tests in a variety of conditions with flying colors, we are also officially representatives for the company and will be opening new accounts in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We use the gear every day anyway so its a natural fit and we firmly believe in the mission and ideals of this up and coming brand.
We have been getting some of friends on the gear too and they are STOKED! Check out the pictures here of our good friend Mick Coleman, shredding with the pads on! Mick is also a carpenter as well as a trail building volunteer for The Disciples of Dirt, so the pads get used on and off the bike.

eqpd makes some AMAZING gear bags that we use every single day. Have one one right next to me as I write this post that is carrying my notebook and food etc. I use them everyday at work as a landscaper as a lunch bag and use them for gear bags for biking and surfing and everything in between. Meg uses them for her nursing bag and another for general transport. They are made by hand right in Washington.
